Overview
Interprint is a décor printing facility providing printed images to the laminate and flooring industries. The entire facility is comprised of 175,000 SF including 125,000 SF of factory/warehouse space and 19,000 SF of office space which has been expanded with a 27,000 SF warehouse addition and 4,000 SF of office space. 5,000 SF of office space has been renovated. An additional 54,000 of factory/warehouses have been preliminarily designed for future expansion.
EDM provided MEP engineering & structural engineering services for the following projects:
Warehouse Addition – 27,000 SF heated, clerestory-lit warehouse addition primarily for storage use with exterior access. The structure was pre-engineered, and construction coordinated through a construction manager.
Factory Addition – Concept design for a 54,000 SF heated, clerestory-lit factory in addition to accommodating their ink-dispensing process, inventory storage and a digital printing machine. Sitework included relocating the parking lot.
Offices – 4,000 SF office addition (Purchasing, Accounting, Human Resources) + 5,000 SF renovations (Account Managers, Inside Sales, Design Area)
Film printing press structural foundation & ancillary equipment installation.
