City of Springfield Skills Technical Training Facility

Overview
EDM provided design and construction documents for a mixed-use 11,900 square-foot classroom and technical training facility for the City of Springfield. The project was a publicly funded project procured under Chapter 149 regulations.
The project featured:
- A clear-span training area of 80 by 120 feet in a new pre-engineered metal building
- Full radiant floor heating system in warehouse
- Highly insulated roof and wall panels for improved energy efficiency
- The front façade consists of a brick veneer to match the existing historic park buildings in Forest Park
