Overview
The project for the US Navy through General Dynamics included hazardous material remediation and demolition of approximately 15,400 SF of office and former machine shop space to be used for the construction of 6,500 SF of ISO Class 1,000 clean room space, 3,800 SF of clean assembly area, 800 SF of special machining process area, and 4,300 SF of office space with new toilet facilities.
EDM services include engineering for design and specification development of specialized utility systems in support of the high-tech manufacturing processes. All renovations were designed, and reviewed by NAVFAC, to comply with UFC 4-010-01 and other required UFC design standards.
